Numerous ancient mantras are found in the Saṃhitā portion of the Vedas. The Saṃhitās are the most ancient layer of the Vedas, and contain numerous mantras, hymns, prayers, and litanies.[37] The Rigveda Samhita contains about 10552 Mantras, classified into ten books called Mandalas. A Sukta is a group of Mantras.[38] Mantras come in many forms, including ṛc (verses from the Rigveda for example) and sāman (musical chants from the Sāmaveda for example).[3][6]
Some examples of Jain mantras are Bhaktamara Stotra, Uvasagharam Stotra and [[Rishi Mandal Mantra. The greatest is the Namokar or Navkar Mantra.[97] Acharya Sushil Kumar, a self-realized master of the secrets of the Mantra, wrote in 1987: "There is a deep, secret science to the combination of sounds. Specific syllables are seeds for the awakening of latent powers. Only a person who has been initiated into the vibrational realms, who has actually experienced this level of reality, can fully understand the Science of Letters...the Nomokar Mantra is a treasured gift to humanity of unestimable (sic) worth for the purification, upliftment and spiritual evolution of everyone.".[98] His book, The Song of the Soul, is a practical manual to unlock the secrets of the mantra. "Chanting with Guruji" is a compilation of well-known Jain mantras, including the Rishi Mandal Mantra.[99]

Ancient books on Indian culture, religion do not have a mention of the word HINDU. In fact Hindu is no religion. Hinduism does not even qualify to be called a religion. There are no specific gods, no specific way of worship . Religious practices and taboos differ from region to region and caste to caste. HINDU word in fact is the name given by Muslim invaders. It is a Persian dialect word meaning UNCIVILIZED INFIDELS. It is a derogatory word given by Muslim invaders to Indians. But with the passage of time it came to be known as a religion.
Most ancient religion of India is Adi Dharam. It is not the religion of Chuhra and Chamars as commonly belived but religion practised by the ab original Indians. As the name goes ADI means at the origin and Dharam means relligion. It is a religion practized before the advent of any other religion. So it is the religion of original Indians. Religious and social ceremonies practised in poor societies and tribals are different from claimed to be of Hindus. Most of these communities still practize ADi Dharam. Most ancient books were compiled by Ad Dharmis. It is the great great grand father of Indian religions. Wisdom of Vedas and Up nishadas have been derived from original thoughts of Adi Dharam. Religions like Budhism, Jainism and Sikhism also have inputs from Adi Dharam. So all Indians should discard their religious identities and adopt Adi Dharam as the only religion which have been practised by our ancestors.
If we study the Varna system carefully it would be revealed that originally there were only four varnas. i.e Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Baniyas and Sudras. Varna is a Sanskrit word means work.Varna does not mean any caste. It is clearly mentioned in the Varna system that all those who work with hands were grouped into Sudras. Farmers, labourers, carpenters, gold smiths, potters, leather tanners, craftsmen and artisans were all grouped into one Varna called Sudra. Thus all the farmers or jatts belong to Sudra varna. There is a Lahore high court judjement delivered by High Court Judge Sh Sardari Lal Kapoor in the year 1921 turning down an appeal by a jatt to exclude him from Sudra varana. If we check population cessus before 1931 jatts have been mentioned as Sudras. It was only in the year 1931 that Britisher Govt of india acceded to their request to exclude them from Sudra Varna. Britishers wanted to divide and please a section of the Indian polpulation to continue their rule in India.Also it is a historical fact that Sikhs of Punjab or jatts of Punjab did not play any role in the first WAR OF INDEPENDENCE. They rather helped the Britishers to suppress the FIRST WAR OF INDEPENDENCE. They helped to capture thousands of hindi speaking soldiers mostly Chamars of UP and Bihar who revolted against Britishers in Lahore Cantonment. Sikhs helped DC of Amritsar to catch these revolutionaries and more than 300 were burried alive in AJNALA near Amritsar.Jatts are also Sudras as per the Original Version or classification of Varnas
